Q: What are Community Wellness Programs?
A: VNA Health Group offers health education and resources, early childhood and mental health services, senior wellness, home visitation for prenatal and parenting education, immunizations, nutritional counseling, and case management, as well as socialization opportunities. In addition, our staff work with other community based organizations, schools, parishes and hospitals to promote health and well-being of the individuals we serve throughout New Jersey.
Q: Is there a charge for these services?
A: Community health programs and services are provided free of charge to eligible individuals. Health screenings and immunizations may have a nominal fee.
Q: How are these programs funded?
A: Many of these programs are supported by grants and administered by VNA Health Group staff. In addition, charitable contributions provide additional funding to assist individuals in need regardless of circumstance.
